When a landlord adds a tenant, the option of including the tenant's email address is available. When a landlord adds the email address, the tenant is sent an email with their username and password so that they can sign in to view their profile, including upcoming and past payments and damages filed against them. They will not be able to edit any information.

Another benefit of adding the tenant's email address is that you can easily email tenants from their profiles by clicking the 'Email Tenant' link on the left side of the screen while viewing their profile. Being able to easily send messages and reminders to your tenant will save a lot of time, and they will have the same option to email you when they sign in using their username.

When you have your tenant's email address you can also email them a copy of damage reports you are filing in regards to them automatically and immediately after filling out the damage report.
